On Thursday, DVSC played the second pre-season match in the training camp in Turkey. The opponent of Loki was OFK Beograd, which is currently in the 9th position in the 16-team Serbian league. Due to minor injuries, Bence Batik, Ádám Lang, Dominik Kocsis, Soma Szuhodovszki and Maximilian Hofmann missed the match, while several young players were given an opportunity to feature.

At the beginning of the match, OFK Beograd led several attacks and took the lead in the 8th minute with a close-range shot (0-1). After that Loki had more possession of the ball and dominated in the midfield at times, but could not equalize until the break, even though our team showed some good actions (such as Yacouba Silue’s header, who came on as a substitution).

The substitutions brought new energy for the second half and DVSC posed more threat on their opponent. At first, Flórián Cibla, then Álex Bermejo was close to scoring. In the 61st minute, Márk Szécsi was fouled within the box and Donát Bárány converted the awarded penalty (1-1).

In the final minutes, there were some chances in front of both goals, but in the 84th minute, OFK scored after a quick attack (1-2). Our team will continue to train in the next days and play against the Slovenian Maribor next Tuesday.
