Ahead of the highly successful Season Kick-Off Fiesta, DVSC held a supporters’ forum on Monday in the press conference room at Nagyerdei Stadium. The event was attended by managing director Balázs Makray, sporting director Ádám Bogdán, head coach Gert Remmel and our experienced centre-back Ádám Lang.

During the forum, Balázs Makray revealed that the club has already sold around 2,700 season tickets, with sales progressing at a much faster pace than at the same stage last year. As a result, the club believes it is a realistic target to reach at least 4,000 season-ticket holders this season. Balázs Makray also announced good news for supporters regarding DVSC’s first home UEFA Conference League qualifier. Tickets for the match will cost a HUF 1,500 in all sections except the VIP area, while season-ticket holders will be admitted free of charge. If DVSC face Armenian side Pyunik Yerevan, as expected, the match is scheduled to kick off at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23.

Ádám Bogdán highlighted that the club’s objective in building the squad was to assemble a group of players capable of performing at a higher intensity. He noted that one or two more arrivals are still possible, but the core of the squad is now in place and ready meet the challenges ahead. The sporting director also underlined the importance of integrating homegrown players into the first team, while ensuring that the team remains competitive in the race for European qualification.

Head Coach Gert Remmel said he has received nothing but positive responses from the players so far. He believes the team’s style of play will differ significantly from that of previous seasons and added that his experience since arriving has been extremely encouraging. Communication between the coaching staff and the squad has been excellent, and he considers the latest phase of pre-season preparations as a success.

Ádám Lang emphasised the importance of the players fully understanding what the new coaching staff expect from them, adding that the process is going well. He said communication between the players and the coaches has been open and honest, giving him every reason to be optimistic about the season ahead.
