On Thursday, DVSC played the last preparation match in the Turkish training camp before travelling back to Hungary on Friday. The opponent of Loki was Buducnost Podgorica, the leader of the table in the Montenegrin championship. Our starting eleven consisted of players who were not playing or didn’t play much against Novi Pazar on Wednesday.

At the beginning of the match, Loki was dominating and in the 4^th minute, Stefan Loncar scored after a set piece but the referee flagged it for offside. However, in the 10^th minute, our team scored a valid goal: after Balázs Dzsudzsák’s free-kick, János Ferenczi headed the ball into the goal from 10 meters (1-0).

Subsequently, Buducnost tried to create some chances but did not succeed much. In the 22^nd minute, following a beautiful attack, Botond Vajda passed to Balázs Dzsudzsák, who unleashed a shot from 17 meters but the goalkeeper made a brilliant save. The Montenegrin team also had a clear-cut chance from the counterattack, but Balázs Megyeri deflected the ball. There were some other smaller chances (our goalkeeper made another great save) but the score stayed the same until the break.

In the second half, DVSC had more control of the match, our team led some great actions but there were some mistakes as well. In the 62^nd minute, Donát Bárány curled the ball over the goal from close-range. However, in the 63^rd minute, our homegrown striker did not miss the chance as he headed the ball into the goal from 8 meters after Balázs Dzsudzsák’s beautiful cross (2-0). In the 67^th minute, Balázs Megyeri hit a powerful cross over the top, then Stefan Loncar scored again, but a preliminary push meant that his goal was disallowed as well as the one of Donát Bárány shortly afterwards.

In the endgame, there were some promising chances in front of both goals but no more goals were scored. On February 3, DVSC is going to play a league match against Diósgyőr, starting at 5.30 at Nagyerdei Stadium.
