Upon the expiration of his contract, the two-time league and two-time cup winner János Ferenczi is leaving DVSC. The 34-year-old footballer was born in Debrecen and came up through the ranks of the youth teams as a homegrown player of Loki. In the 2011/12 season, he made his debut in the first division. Over the years, János Ferenczi transitioned from a left-winger to a left-back, playing a total of 331 competitive matches in the ranks of DVSC. In the top league, he appeared in 254 games in red and white, which places him in the 8^th position on the club’s all-time appearances list. Even though his role has changed over the years, he managed to score 11 goals and provide 40 assists during these matches. His royalty to the club is exemplary and rare in today’s football world, which marks a truly valuable career.

János Ferenczi has also made two appearances for the Hungarian national team, further enhancing the reputation of DVSC. We would like to thank our player for everything that he did for our club and wish him good luck in his future career! In our hearts, he will always stay part of the DVSC family.
