DVSC played the 2nd preparation match in Austria against the 32-time Austrian champion and 14-time cup winner, Rapid Wien. The teams played for 60 minutes in the first half and for 45 minutes in the second half.
In the 8th minute, the home team took the lead, when Beljo scored from close-range after some turmoil in front of Megyeri’s goal. Subsequently, Loki had several chances: after Balázs Dzsudzsák’s corner-kick, Ferenczi had a dangerous shot, then Donát Bárány had a one-on-one opportunity, but he shot wide off the goal. However, the equalizer came in the 21st minute: after Domingues’ corner-kick, Romanchuk found the back of the net. Not long after, Márk Szécsi could have doubled the advantage of Loki, but his close-range shot hit the goalkeeper.
In the 45th minute, we were close to taking the lead, but either a defender or the goalkeeper of the opponent saved the shots of Ojediran, Stojkovic and Szécsi. In the 60th minute, Domingues crossed the ball and Dzsudzsák scored from 10 meters.
In the 69th minute, Rapid equalized, when Bischof headed the ball into the goal after a right-sided cross. A lot of our young players came on as substitutes after the 75th minute. There were no serious chances in the second half, but in the 101st minute, Dursun scored for the home team from 17 meters. Thus, Rapid Wien won 3-2 against DVSC.
