Previous clubs: DVSC youth team, Létavértes, DVSC-DEAC
He joined Loki’s first team in the summer of 2011 at the age of just 20. His name quickly became widely known. He made his debut in the top division during the first league match against Vasas. Unfortunately, a week later, he suffered a partial ligament tear during a training match, forcing him to take a short break. He had barely turned 4, when he started attending training sessions regularly at the Olasz Focisuli (Italian Football School). Then came the Loki Focisuli (Loki Football School), followed by the youth teams of DVSC. After that, he played for the reserve team, the NB III Létavértes. From there, in June 2010, he moved to the second team, DVSC-DEAC.
Initially, he didn’t get many opportunities in NB II, but the second half of the season went so well that he suddenly found himself in the first team. The left-footed player is versatile, capable of playing both on the left side of midfield and defence. He believes that attitudes, opportunities and luck all play a significant role in building a career. He is deeply grateful to his parents, who thoughtfully planned his career, supported him in every way and encouraged him throughout the years. He honestly admitted that he was lucky too, as out of a hundred young players, maybe one makes it to the first team. Many of his former teammates have since quit, but he persevered.
He is a true native of Debrecen, and alongside Raúl, Balázs Dzsudzsák is his role model. Of course, both are left-footed goal-scorers. The club signed a contract with János Ferenczi in the winter of 2021, extending until 2024. In June 2023, he made his second appearance for the national team, coming on as a substitute in the Euro qualifier against Lithuania, which ended in a 2-0 victory for Hungary.
