DVSC has signed Leon Myrtaj for 3 years. The 18-year-old youth international player arrived in Debrecen from England after progressing through the academy system of the club in London. Leon Myrtaj joined Tottenham Hotspur at the age of 7 and represented the club at several age-group levels, including the U16, U18 and U21 teams. He also trained with the first-team squad on multiple occassions.

Leon Myrtaj’s mother is Hungarian, while his father is Albanian. He has already played for the Albanian youth national teams, and through his family background he is also eligible to represent the Hungarian U21 national team.

The young footballer, who is capable of playing in several positions, is well known for his speed, attacking creativity and versatility. Experts regard him as a hardworking and ambitious player, which he can prove from now on in the ranks of Loki.
