After a free-kick, Joshua Mejías took the ball, who made a cross and Donát Bárány curled it into the net, sliding from the edge of the goal area (1-0). After some turmoil, ZTE almost eqaulized, then in the 22nd minute, Gundel-Takács saved Soma Szuhodovszki’s cross.

In the 31st minute, at the end of a beautiful Szűcs-Gordic-Bárány-Szuhodovszki-Kocsis action, our winger confidently converted the clear-cut chance (2-0). In the 36th minute, Ádám Varga had to perform a feat, he made a brilliant save to deny Maxsuell’s huge chance. No more goals were scored until the break, but overall, our team’s performance was great.

In the 2nd half, Loki had their first chance, but Dorde Gordic hit the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Ádám Lang came on to substitute Maximilian Hofmann, who had a yellow card. DVSC continued to control the match, with many players delivering a great individual performance. In the 64th minute, the goalkeeper of ZTE made a huge save to deny the free-kick of Tamás Szűcs and not long after, Márk Szécsi shot wide off the goal.

Balázs Dzsudzsák and Flórián Cibla came on for the endgame, later Fran Manzanara and Pape Sissoko also came off the bench. Even though Skribek pulled one back at the end from a free kick (2-1), Loki secured a confident and important victory, jumping to the top of the table.

According to the coach

Sergio Navarro: It was a tough match with serious tactical play. We defended well and scored two goals, the players showed a great performance. We had to play three matches in one week and it deserves praise that we performed well in this match as well.

Nuno Campos: Congratulations to Debrecen, but also to my team as we played well. It was a great match, but unfortunately, we scored too late. We played against an experienced and good team, and overall, it was a nice match.
