János Ferenczi’s contract has been automatically prolonged.
The 33-year-old player was promoted to the first team of Loki in 2011, at the age of 20. He made his debut in the first division against Vasas. Since then, he has been loyal to the club and has become a key player of DVSC, playing in more than 200 NB I matches in the colours of Loki. Right now, he occupies the 9th place in the club’s all-time appearances list.
– It is a huge honour that the club is still counting on me and they were positive about the prolongation. After all these years, I would like to continue helping the team and I hope that together with the others, we can bring joyful moments to the fans. I hope that my loyalty to the club can be an example for the young players as well. Thanks for the support of my biggest fans, my family! – said the 2-time national team player to dvsc.hu.
Congratulations to János Ferenczi on the prolongation of his contract!
DVSC extended the contract of Balázs Dzsudzsák for one more year. Our captain gladly talked about his feelings with the new home jersey in his hands.
– I signed the new contract with huge happiness, as always. We finished a great season and reached the podium so now we can prepare for the Conference League qualifiers. By the end of the championship, we had broken attendance records, which I’m particularly pleased about. Moreover, it was fantastic to celebrate our last match with 15 000 fans. I’m excited about the next season as well. Finally, the team is successful and fans are also awaiting the matches on the weekends. We do play great football and the coaching staff is excellent, which makes it even more enjoyable for me to start a new season here. Both the locker room and the staff inspire me to be more motivated. I’m really happy that I am the captain of DVSC and hope that with my leadership we can progress this year too. This is Debrecen!
Balázs Dzsudzsák signed the contract until the summer of 2024
DVSC has signed a left-footed center-back. The 24-year-old Slovak player, Alexander Mojzis, arrived on loan from Ruzomberok.
Alexander Mojzis has played over 100 matches in the Slovak top division, appearing in 26 league games last season and also participating in the Conference League qualifiers. The young but experienced defender have also had the chance to represent the Slovak U21 national team several times.
Bence Sós, the 29-year-old homegrown player leaves DVSC and transfers to FK Bačka Topola, a team playing in the Serbian top division.
Bence came back to Debrecen in 2020, he was a key player in the NBII championship and after reaching the first division, he still had a significant role in the team. As a player of DVSC, he reached his 100th appearance in NBI, his jubilee was during the game against Újpest in November.
During the last season, he played 24 matches in the first division, scored 2 goals and had 4 assists.
About the transfer of Bence Sós, our club’s sporting director, Hayk Hovakimyan said the following:
– We are constantly working on our communication as we would like to be transparent with our supporters. I would like you to know that on Saturday morning, the agent of Bence Sós arrived to Debrecen and we signed a contract. On that day, in the evening, the Player got an unexpected offer from another European club. Considering everything that Sód did for our club, we didn’t want to deprive him of the chance of playing abroad. It was a very hard decision for us, we had a discussion with the leadership and the coaching staff, as a result of which we concluded that such chances don’t come twice, so we didn’t want to interfere the deal. Bence is one of the most positive and professional players I have ever worked with. I truly wish him success in this new chapter of his life and career!
Thank you, Sosi!
We would like to thank Bence for everything that he did for DVSC and wish him good luck in his future career!
