DVSC signs young Hungarian striker

DVSC has signed Ákos Szendrei for 3 years. The 23-year-old forward, a former youth international, came through the ranks at Paks, after which he played for Slovakian DAC, Fehérvár FC, ETO FC, Kecskemét and Mezőkövesd as well. Last season, he scored 6 goals in 20 matches for Paksi FC. Overall, he has made 54 appearances in Hungary’s top flight, recording 10 goals and 4 assists.

The 184-cm tall striker is particularly effective inside the penalty area, as demonstrated by his brace against Kazincbarcika last season. In fact, Ákos Szendrei has also scored twice at Nagyerdei Stadium before, netting a brace for Hungary’s U18 national team in 2021 against Romania.

Welcome to Loki, Ákos!
