Draw in the first practice match in Turkey: DVSC – Partizan 1-1

On Wednesday afternoon, DVSC played the first practice match in the Turkish training camp. The opponent of Loki was the 17-time Yugoslav and 10-time Serbian champion, Partizan Beograd, led by Srdjan Blagojevic. Among their starting XI were the Izraeli midfielder Bibras Natcho, who has already scored 7 goals and given 9 assists in the league, as well as the Ghanaian Ibrahim Zubairu, who has also been the target of Ferencváros and scored 6 goals in the championship. What concerns the new signings of DVSC, Maximilian Hofmann, Amos Youga and Kristiyan Malinov started too.

Loki entered the match well: in the 7th minute, the Serbian goalkeeper had to deny Balázs Dzsudzsák’s free-kick, then Soma Szuhodovszki’s header in the 8th minute. Overall, the game was evenly balanced, then in the 20th minute, Balázs Megyeri confidently saved Nikolic’s shot. In the 33rd minute, the goalkeeper of Partizan saved Soma Szuhodovszki’s long-range shot, but before the break, Partizan took the lead. In the 41st minute, Bibras Natcho took a free-kick from 18 meters and shot the ball into the bottom left corner (0-1).

The second half started with midfield play, then in the 56th minute, Loki equalized. Soma Szuhodovszki took a shot from around 10 meters and the goalkeeper could only touch the ball (1-1). Not long after, the Serbian goalkeeper made a brilliant save to deny Brandon Domingues’ shot. DVSC played well in the foggy weather.

The substitutions came on, and in the 70th minute, the goalkeeper saved another attempt of Brandon Domingues. In the endgame, there were smaller chances in front of both goals, but it stayed a draw. DVSC will play the next practice match on January 20 against the North Macedonian Brera Struga.
